20’x 20’ custom island display with 20’ x 30’ capability designed by Day Design and constructed by Nutmeg for The Library of Congress. A full-seated theater presentation is used in the larger configuration. Faux marble columns and flooring are imbedded with the great seal and provide a dramatic entrance under the flowing tension structure ceiling. Information kiosks are fully wired for terminals and are accented with halo lit silhouettes of the Library of Congress dome. Retail kiosks display books, posters, merchandise and reproductions based on materials from the Library of Congress archives.
